Winter Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are being offered to people who are eligible, for more information about the vaccinations and the eligibility criteria please see Winter vaccines | NHS inform or Winter vaccinations | Vax Grampian (grampianvax.com).   The Aberlour Medical Practice are not able to help you with any winter vaccination queries, if you have any questions please contact the National contact centre – 0800 030 8013, The helpline is open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm. It is closed on Sundays.

Medication Requests

If you wish to ask for a prescription please call our dedicated line, 01340 882 102 or press Option 3 from the main phone line. Please note that this can take up to 4 working days to process, prior to sending to your preferred chemist. We aim to get all repeat medication requests completed as soon as possible. However, at times we will be required to request a GP or in-house Pharmacist to re-authorise some repeat medications if this happens we may split your prescription so your whole medication order will be sent to the Chemist at different times.

Please ensure you order any medication in good time, we process all prescription requests up until 2pm each day to ensure they can be collected by your chosen Pharmacy.  Please leave at least 4 days from date of request at the Practice to collection at the Pharmacy.  Some prescriptions may not be sent together as this is dependent on the medication requested.

Appointments

If you  have a booked appointment, please make sure you keep the appointment or cancel if you no longer require it.  We do not send out text message reminders for appointments.

In an emergency, such as a suspected heart attack or stroke, always dial 999

For minor injuries call NHS 111 and they will advise you.
