Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapist Annie Griffiths MCSP SRP visits the practice twice a week. She treats joint and muscle problems. The doctor can refer you to the physiotherapist directly. Or you can self refer for minor muscular ailments.

Podiatry  

Podiatry treatment is available to women over 60 and men over 65.  People with certain medical conditions, like diabetes, are also eligible. Podiatry Department at Glass Green, Elgin, manages appointments for the podiatrist. 

Orthoptist

All three-year-old children have their vision checked by the orthoptist. She checks for poor vision and squints.Appointments are sent out automatically from Dr Gray’s. 

Dietician 

A dietician visits regularly to give dietary advice for problems such as diabetes, high cholesterol or obesity. If required the doctors can refer you.
