You can order online via the link above. New users are required to complete a simple restoration prior to using this service.
If you take regular medications then we attach a list of your medicines to each prescription. Use the latest list to let us know which medicines you require. You can do this in three ways
We provide a fast prescription service. If you order by 14:00 your prescription will be ready to collect by 16:15 that day.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
We do not dispense medicines at the practice. There is a pharmacy in Aberlour High Street. There are also pharmacies in Dufftown and Rothes. The pharmacist can give you advice on minor illnesses as well as give you the tablets prescribed by the doctor. The Aberlour and Rothes pharmacies offers an ordering and collection service. If you wish to take part please ask the Pharmacist and they will make arrangements on your behalf.
Are you on repeat regular medication?
You may be a suitable candidate for the Chronic Medication Service (CMS).
How CMS works - Your GP would issue you with a SERIAL prescription rather than a standard repeat prescription.
Serial prescriptions can last for 24, 48 or 56 weeks and your Pharmacist will dispense it in regular installments (either every 4 or 8 weeks).
Having a serial prescription does not stop you making an appointment with your GP in the usual way.
If you feel you are suitable please speak to your preferred community pharmacy who will discuss registration with you.
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
